Youth

.
"Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, 'I have no delight in the them,' before the sun and the light, the moon and the stars are darkened, and the clouds return after rain." (Ecclesiates 12:1-2).
“The youth is such a wonderful thing,” observed George Bernard Shaw, “that it’s a shame to waste it on the young.” Realizing that the youth can waste their lives which are full of vigor, we endeavor, here in DFI, to disciple them from young age to channel their energy to God. It’s so amazing that they love to do things. The devil would us believe that young don’t want church because it’s boring. But who said that church has to be boring?
Now, granted, religion is boring, but not God.
We believe that a church that is Spirit guided cannot be boring. It’s dynamic, vibrant and most enjoyful because God is present and God is not boring. In addition to the presence of God, we strive to be creative in ministering to our youth because it’s important to apply the wisdom of the sons of Issachar who understood the times and acted accordingly.
In short, we strive to minister the unchanging word of the living God to a rapidly changing world and changing young people in order to bring the God-desired change in their lives. We urge any parent with a teen to encourage them to join this ministry.
