Small Group Bible Studies (SGBS)

 

DFI believes that the best way to fulfill the divine vision of making disciples is through small-group Bible studies meeting in members' homes. This is the best setting to facilitate grouth through sharing of the Word, accountability, and sharing of each other's lives and experiences.

So far we have 9 small groups meeting athroughout the week at different times. See below for the specific information for each group:

Silver Spring/Burtonsville BSG

This group meets on Fridays from 8 pm - 10:00 p.m. at the church facility in Silver Spring. Pastor Mulani is leading this group for now.

Gaithersburg Small Group

This group meets at the residence of Margaret Mumba in Germantown, MD. Call Pst. Kanani (240-370-9753)

Virginia Small Group Bible study

This group meets on Wednesdays 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at The Nziokas residence in Falls Church , VA. It is currently taught by Pastor Linje Nankhuni while the leader is assisted by brother Jacob Muthama assisted by Alice Nzioka. For more details contact Alice Nzioka at 703 618 0032.

Germantown Small Group

Baltimore Small Group

This group meets on Wednesdays from 8:00 p.m. - 10 p.m. at the residence of Pst. Steve Magwa in Pikeville, Baltimore. Contact Steve at 443-889-5953

Kesha or All- Nite prayer Meeting

Meets every Friday at the church in Silver Spring from 10:30 - breakthrough.

The leader is Minister Rebecca Thompson.

Other Groups

The Youth group This group meets every other Saturday (two Saturdays a month) at the members' homes or in the park (during summer) from 4 7 p.m. It is currently headed by Pastor Flora Nankhuni.

The Women Fellowship

This group meets on the first Sunday of the month from 4 6 p.m. at a venue that is determined after each of their meetings. Contact sister Lorna Nduru or get more information on the Womens Fellowship page in this website.

Mens' Fellowship

This group meets on the first Sunday of the month from 4 - 6 p.m. at a venue to be determined after each of their meetings. Contact brother Ronald Dixon for more information.

Married Couples Fellowship

This groups meets after every three months (quarterly meetings) and is headed by Mike and Kakenya Mugo.
